At PiQ Performance Athletics, our 1-on-1 private lessons are designed to give every athlete the personalized attention they need to excel. Each of our coaches brings unique expertise to the table. Coach Melvin Vance offers over 20 years of coaching experience across multiple sports, specializing in speed, agility, football, baseball, and overall athletic performance. Coach Gabriella Gonzales draws from her years as a multi-sport athlete and collegiate softball player, blending high-level skill development with a focus on recovery, wellness, and academic accountability. Coach Michael Gonzales combines his background in youth sports, CrossFit, and heavy lifting with his role as a life coach and interventionist, guiding athletes not only in their sport but also in building resilience and confidence.
Our private lessons are built around the individual athlete—every drill, rep, and teaching moment is tailored to your sport, your goals, and your personal journey. Strength & Conditioning
At PiQ Performance Athletics, our Strength & Conditioning program is built to transform athletes into stronger, faster, and more resilient competitors. Training sessions focus on improving power, endurance, mobility, and overall athletic performance, helping athletes prepare their bodies for the demands of their sport.
Our coaching team blends proven methods with modern training techniques—from functional strength work and explosive power drills to endurance conditioning and injury-prevention programming. Speed & Agility
At PiQ Performance Athletics, our Speed & Agility program is designed to give athletes the competitive edge by improving quickness, reaction time, and movement efficiency. Speed wins games, and agility separates good athletes from great ones—that’s why our training targets the mechanics and explosiveness athletes need to dominate in their sport.
Sessions focus on sprint form, acceleration, change of direction, footwork, balance, and coordination. Using proven drills, resistance tools, and sport-specific movement patterns, athletes learn how to move more efficiently and confidently in competition. Every drill is tailored to match the demands of the athlete’s sport and position, ensuring the training translates directly to performance on the field or court.
More than just running faster, our program builds body control, spatial awareness, and resilience, helping athletes stay sharp while reducing the risk of injury. With coaching that blends discipline, intensity, and encouragement, PiQ helps athletes push past their limits and unlock their true speed potential.

Recovery Services
At PiQ Performance Athletics, we know that true progress doesn’t just happen during training—it happens in recovery. Our Recovery Services are designed to help athletes heal faster, prevent injuries, and perform at their absolute peak by giving their bodies the care they deserve.
Inside our recovery room, athletes have access to tools and treatments that target both body and mind. From compression therapy and heat/cold treatments to mobility work and hands-on recovery tables, every service is built to reduce soreness, restore energy, and prepare athletes for their next session.
